Pole Theatre Ireland

On March 7th 2020 Lioness Aerial Fitness had the honour of being the opening act of Pole Theatre Ireland held in Carlow. 30 Lionesses both instructors and students ROARED on stage with a powerful gay pride routine.

June 1969 - Police stage a raid at the Stonewall Inn, a well known gay bar in New York City. Patrons were inspired to fight back and the days-long protest that followed is credited as the spark that ignited the LGBTQ rights movement.

Young gay activists demanded faster and more radical change and decided to commemorate the Stonewall Riots with a march on the one year anniversary.

That first march was named the "Christopher Street Liberation Day". As the straight world became more aware of the LGBTQ community, the parade grew and Gay Pride was born. Today we celebrate 50 years since the first Pride march.

Electric Picnic 2019

For the 3rd year in a row Lioness Aerial Fitness were delighted to be apart of the Jerry Fish Tent as part of the Electric Side Show.

Down Syndrome Showcase

July 2019 Lioness Aerial Fitness produced and held a full aerial show in the Coast Hotel to raise money for down syndrome Wexford. The show included stunning performances from both our adult students and Cubs. We were very proud to have raised over €1700 for Down Syndrome Wexford as the hold a very special place in our Pride with many of there members now taking classes with us.
